The Reverend Doc Bodine has been playing guitar since his teens and still enjoys it each time the volume knob gets turned up. He has always had a deep affection and a strong influence by the blues & blues/rock music since listening to his idols like Roy Buchanan, Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy and Billy Gibbons, just to name a few. Doc is a self-taught guitar player who was born and raised in Maryland and also, ordained in 2001. Building, repairing and hot-rodding guitars is just another favorite hobby for him. Over the years, Doc has played in many bands including the Bodine Brothers Band (co-founder) for 20 years and his latest project
Doc Bodine & the Bodacious Blues.
